Mural on Dorchester Road overpass bridge

Our proposed design for a mural on the Dorchester Road overpass bridge was accepted by the New York City Department of Transportation.

For two scorching-hot weekends this summer, together with a group of neighborhood volunteers we painted over 120 feet of ugly concrete walls (60’x8’ each).

The mural, called “Now and Then,” is a vibrant interpretation of textures and colors of historic Ditmas Park. It was made possible in collaboration with Ditmas Park Neighborhood Association and Flatbush Development Corporation. Sponsored by the New York City Department of Transportation.
